General Information

Our Policies

 Appointments

We understand that your time is valuable and we will make every effort to provide services in a prompt fashion.  We strive to give each patient our undivided attention and unsurpassed service for the agreed upon appointment time.  We do not double book patients.  In exchange, we expect that you will be present for your appointment at the agreed upon time.  We understand that scheduling conflicts occasionally occur and would appreciate at least a 24 hour notice if cancellation of you appointment is necessary.

Financial Policy

The fee for endodontic treatment is determined by the type of tooth involved and the complexity of the procedure.  Our business staff will provide you with a fee estimate of treatment prior to your scheduled appointment.

For your convenience we accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.  We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time of service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. In addition, we are pleased to offer Care Credit  financing, a monthly payment plan option.

We do accept your insurance and file your claim for you.  As a service to you, we will be happy to call your insurance company to get an estimate of what portion of your treatment that is covered.  This estimate will be based on their UCR (Usual and Customary Fee-see below) schedule and most insurance companies will not give us their schedule.  In this case we will get as close as possible with our estimate based  on the information they provide to us.  There is however no guarantee that they will pay the estimated amount and you will be responsible for any portion that the insurance company does not pay.

"UCR" is the term used by insurance compainies to describe the amount they are willing to pay for a particular dental procedure.  There is no standard fee or accepted method for determining the UCR and the UCR has no relationship to the fee charged by our office.  The administrator of each dental benefit plan determines the fees the plan will pay, often based on many factors including region of the country , number of procedures performed, and cost of living.
